From the Set

In their own words

I had the privilege of working directly with Annemarie as an actress on the set of her film, All The Beautiful Things. She does a fantastic job of creating and maintaining a fun and professional work environment. As a very dedicated director, she was willing to go the extra mile to give personalized feedback to the actors individually both in pre-production and on set.

Alongside being a talented actress, writer, and director, she always checked in with me while on set to make sure that I was doing well. She made sure everyone on set was hydrated, fed, and in a good headspace. She communicated clearly and effectively in a high-paced work environment and works very well with people. I would happily work with her again and recommend others to do the same.

Creativity is essential in the world of film and our world today. To conceive of a story, script and then go film a feature. That is the textbook definition of loving to create. She had a vision, and she shared that vision and allowed all of us to become a part of that vision. She is rooted in the real world and understands the business aspects. She could not have pulled this off without the understanding of time, location, budgets and people. I think that says volumes about the business side of things.

A.M is a very good person to work with! She was an amazing producer & director on set of ATBT! She is filled with positive energy and really good insight of how a film set should operate. She is hardworking and also has a passion for acting and making sure everything is perfect! I would highly recommend her for any film set! She was able to teach me a lot as an actor and in production assisting!

Let me address the tech side of all this and you can see why I would work on any project she is involved in. The most important thing that she did on the production side of things is first surrounded herself with very knowledgeable people who knew exactly what they were doing. Even though she was in charge she allowed them to do their job and she would jump in no hesitation. She was never above anyone even though she was in charge.

I am delighted to be writing a letter of recommendation for Annemarie Lewis. I am an actor and a business owner. Being both gives me a different perspective than some others. As an actor, I know what it is like to work on different characters in different genres and types of projects. Being a business owner gives me a different perspective of the people I am working with. Because I look at projects from a business lens, I have learned to see who is serious and who is not, who is going to follow through on their commitments and who will not. Annemarie has always been 100% committed to every aspect of the project that we worked on. I was fortunate enough to work with Annemarie on a fantastic film called All the Beautiful Things, which was written, directed, produced, and starred in by Annemarie.

During the process of creating this film, I worked with Annemarie on many different aspects of the film. She fully threw herself into this project. The fact that Annemarie was willing to do whatever it took to make her dream come alive was inspiring to all of the people who worked on this project. Annemarie is extremely talented but there is so much more to her. She is ready for anything you throw at her. And, believe me, making a feature film for the first time, there are a ton of curveballs that she fielded. She did so with grace and agility. She was tirelessly dedicated to creating an amazing piece of art.
