About Ripple House

At Ripple House, I am a storyteller who writes, directs, and produces narrative feature films, limited series, and podcasts. My mediums span from claymation to live action, but the thread uniting my work is a desire to create entertaining, socially impactful narratives that transform underrepresented experiences into emotionally resonant stories—fostering empathy, connection, and meaningful dialogue. In other words: bringing important stories to life through entertainment. Soul medicine in syntactic sugar!

The ultimate goal of my production LLC is to help ensure that disabled filmmakers and storytellers from low-income backgrounds have access to the support and opportunities they need to bring their stories to life.

Outside of Ripple House, I also direct and produce for hire! When bringing someone else’s work to life, I consider a wide range of projects far beyond the social-impact space I focus on as a writer-director. I love helping other writers and filmmakers realize their vision—whatever that vision may be.

As a director, I’m especially adept at honing the right cinematic vision alongside cinematographers and coaxing the strongest possible performance out of every actor—making sure subtext, nuance, and believability win every time. Nothing kills a movie quicker than bad acting. I’ve personally seen brilliant actors give poor performances under inexperienced direction, and it’s always such a bummer. Great performances don’t just come from casting great actors; they come from creating the conditions in which those actors can do their best work.
